Youngest Indian Author @ 14
Still in dreams with you I have a talk,
And down the lane of memories, we walk.
Now, I have everything but in you I lack,
Oh, Mother! Please come back.
Heart touching, isn’t it? Well, this is only a glimpse of innocent yet eye-catching poetry that one is going to relish while shuffling through the pages of “My Little Thoughts”. Written in an uncomplicated tone, these poems succeed in reverberating through the minds of its readers transporting them to their days of childhood and adolescence and enabling them to relive those golden days.
Encompassing a wide spectrum of topics, especially the ones related to children and society, these poems strike a distinct chord with children of all age groups. Carrying a shade of emotions as well as reason, each of these poems conveys an explicit message to the world making it hard to believe that they have been written by a boy who has just stepped into his teens. Writing since the age of nine, Vikram Grewal, the author of this book, has established himself as a prolific writer who has been regularly contributing with articles and poems for numerous magazines and Newspapers.
Being an Army kid, Vikram has travelled extensively across the country and this exposure has given a multi dimensional perspective to his poetry. Most of his poems evidently carry with them mixed feelings of separation and patriotism. Laden with forty-four poems, “My Little Thoughts” is an endeavour to evoke some serious thinking on the part of today’s parents who burden their kids with enormous parental aspirations. It is high time that they realize the significance of affording free space to their kids and let them pursue their latent talents and establish an independent identity for themselves. This Book has been widely appreciated by parents, teachers and students alike. Already nearly 2000 copies have been gifted or sold in last three months.

The book has a thought provoking theme which demonstrates the reactions of an Indian citizen towards the current state of politics, environment and customs of the 21st century India. A bright student, voracious reader, keen sportsman, Vikram has got a rare literary talent at young age of 14 and promise to make our Army family feel proud of him one day.
